About: Most of the time she's a friendly, cheerful and really happy social butterfly, who makes friends easily and often acts like a (big) sister figure to people. She has an EXTREMELY FIERCE temper hiding behind all of that cheerfulness, she gets MAD easily but luckily her sometimes violent rage is like a passing, sudden storm and it's like nothing even happened after she calms down. She used to be a crybaby, now she cries ...less, but she's also used to crying for those, who never cry themselves for one reason or another. She's one of the most caring, sympathetic and empathetic people, that anyone will ever meet. If you see her around Ed, it sure sounds like bickering is her favorite thing ever.

Her parents were doctors, who were trying to help and rescue people even in the middle of her home world's literal worst war battlefield ever. They were eventually murdered by one of the people, that they saved from dying and Winry knows all the details of it by now. Soooooo, there's also a lot of sad, grief and other negative feelings behind her cheerfulness but she's learned to live with them. She's still always afraid of worst things happening to people and her being left behind whenever her loved ones go into reckless, dangerous situations and she's a worrier, who's always worrying about people but also taking care of them as well as she can. She will never stop nagging at people to take care of themselves. She gets attached to people easily, like she calls Maes Hughes like a father (figure) to her despite not knowing the Hughes family for a very long time but they bonded really easily once Winry stayed in their house for a while.

She LOVES technology, machines, and other things like that. She's a mechanic and an engineer, who specializes in her world's prosthetic limbs called AUTOMAIL, that are limbs connected to user's nervous system and act and look much like normal limbs. She can build them from scratch in days without sleeping much in between, been there and done that. She's gentler and friendlier than most automail engineers, so people prefer her over some others... But she gets all excited about any tech, machines, whatever related to those!

Winry also loves baking and she's trying to get better and better at it, she's also great at cooking and housework stuff thanks to living with her grandmother and doing a lot of the work in the house with her.

She doesn't have any magical or alchemy abilities but her wrench keep magically appearing to her even in situations, where she doesn't even have one anywhere near her...
Her parents were doctors and while Elric brothers were busy with their alchemy studies and shut her out, Winry got herself busy by reading medical books in her home. She's still doing it a lot!
She is not a doctor or a nurse, or even close to being one, but even her automail career requires some medical knowledge and a woman delivered a happy and healthy baby into the world with her help, because Winry happened to be the only one, who knew what to do without any doctors or nurses around in the house, where this happened and she told others what to do too. Sometimes there's just no other options and she remembers many things from her parents books really well, so she will surprise with her medical knowledge sometimes.
